We’ve been travelling across Canada with the Quizmaster getting ready for the Canadian National Final, being hosted at Branksome Hall on Wednesday, February 8th. The Toronto regional, February 6th, will determine the last of the teams making it through. We’ll keep you posted.

Here is a look at where we’ve been so far and the exciting teams who will be competing at the National.

From BC- St. Michael’s College School.

From Alberta- Rundle College.

From the Ontario regionals-

Ottawa teams from Fisher Park Summit P.S.

Hamilton team from Lee Academy.

Stay tuned to see who will be joining us from the greater Toronto area.

We’d like to thank the wonderful authors who have come out to play along side our student competitors. Thank you for supporting the quiz and celebrating the Sport of Reading.

The “Blank Pages” felt the heat in BC! Authors Susin Nielsen, John Wilson and Dan Bar El with their participant ribbons looking a little defeated. Don’t let your egos be bruised- you rocked it!!!!

Team Writerly (authors Gillian Chan, Aimee Reid, Joanne Levy,  and Jennifer Mook-Sang), seen below with KLQ National coordinator Nancy Davidson and Quiz Master and founder Wayne Mills, came out to the Hamilton Regional and also left impressed by the knowledge of competing teams.

Canada will be hosting the World Final for 2017. Be part of the story…
